I want to live in Germany and study classical music to become a performer, as soon as possible.
I majored in piano/organ in college for a year, at Loyola University New Orleans, towards a BM in Performance. I've done violin for a total of 3 1/2 years, too. I'm trying to see if I can continue in violin and be happy in the future, that is if I'll "make it." I wanted to play since I was 6 years old. When I was a kid doing piano, I didn't have as much time to practice later on because it was hard to focus on my busywork/homework, when I moved from Southeastern/Northeastern Florida to Louisiana, by New Orleans. So, violin didn't seem like an option, yet. Also, my parental generation is at retirement age and preparing for their death, so, if that's a problem, after all these years... I may not be interested in the orchestra. I am not interested in playing organ for a church but rather like a concert pianist. I did have an interest in film acting, but I preferred ballet to film acting; I haven't been in ballet much since I was 21, turned down by the ballet schools, too. I was thinking, if I became a film actress, I'd have money for anything, like private ballet lessons. I don't see why music is not an option for me.
